    Owner / Veterinarian

    Dr. Dean Anderson grew up in the veterinary field working with his grandfather and uncle at their family practice in Alabama. It was a natural fit for Dean to go to Auburn University completing both his undergraduate degree and veterinary degree there.  With his love of animals, people, and medicine being a veterinarian was his calling. With the recent purchase of Grand Strand Animal Hospital Dr. Anderson is excited about offering excellent medical and surgical care for the pets in and around Myrtle Beach.  Dr. Anderson currently resides in Ocean Isle Beach, NC with his wife Anna Anderson, DVM and their 2 dogs,  Chloe a Labrador and Jetty a Boykin Spaniel.
